Job Posting: Architecture Designer, San Francisco, CA
Create 3D digital and physical models and render presentation images. Material and product research. Participate in design proposals, design development, and detail production for the construction documentation. Drawing documentation. Collaborate with senior business stakeholders on the development of presentation techniques, presentation documentation and graphics. Provide architectural-related support in construction administration. Prepare proposals for services in response to client requirements and prepare final procurement and contract documents. Determine impact of applicable zoning and development ordinances to determine project constraints, gather information about community concerns and issues that may impact proposed project, and analyze existing site conditions to determine impact on facility layout. Prepare site analysis diagrams to document existing conditions. Perform building code analysis, develop sustainability goals based on existing environmental conditions, prepare code analysis documentation, define requirements for site survey based on established project scope, and select materials, finishes, and systems based on technical properties and aesthetic requirements.
- Bachelor’s (or foreign equivalent) degree in Architecture; and
- two years of work experience in the job offered or related.
- Some work experience required with the following architectural software: Autocad, Rhino, Revit, Vray, 3DS Max, Sketch-Up, and Vectorworks.
