The Garden Party

The Garden Party is a public art installation that activates the urban streetscape of the Mission Rock development and creates an open, inclusive space for dining and socializing.

Inspired by classical greenhouse structures, the design fosters pedestrian interaction through its geometry and visually open language. At the same time, the Garden Party provides a sense of enclosure and a place to gather.  By defining a street ‘room’ along the paseo, passersby are invited to pause within and sit for a meal or conversation, while still remaining in active engagement with the surrounding streetscape.
